Retro Kid™ Original

Yes! To save your game progress on the Retro Kid console, you can use the quick menu by pressing Select + X while in-game. From there, select “Save State,” choose a slot, and save your progress. Remember your slot number for later! This is useful if multiple people are playing and want separate save files. To load, just select Load State instead.

Alternatively, you can use the Save State shortcut, which instantly captures your exact position in the game for later resumption. Here’s how:
• Save State: Press Select + R1 to save your current game state.
• Load State: Press Select + L1 to load your previously saved state.

The console comes preloaded with all 25,000+ games, so you can start playing immediately after unboxing—no setup, no downloads, no internet needed. There is no subscription, no membership, and nothing extra to buy to use the games.

The games on the Retro Kid are full versions — not just a couple of levels, demos, trials, or altered versions. Each game is fully playable from start to finish, just like the original versions on their respective consoles (PSP, PS1, N64, NES, etc.) You get the complete experience just like the original!

No Wi-Fi is needed to play. All games are preloaded so you can play anywhere, anytime - even offline.

The battery life on the Retro Kid™ is 8-10 hours, depending on the game and screen brightness — more than enough for a full day of retro gaming fun. The battery can be fully recharged in just 2 hours.

No. The price you see is the price you pay. No sales tax is added at checkout, there are no handling or processing fees, and shipping is free on every order. The total shown before you pay is the total you pay.

Nothing further is owed after you order, either. And in the unlikely event you are ever asked to pay anything beyond what you paid us, email the receipt to support@retrocity.net and we refund it in full.

If the console isn't right for you, send it back for a full refund of the product price — no restocking fee. It just needs to be unused and in its original packaging.

Return postage is yours unless the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or we sent the wrong thing — in those cases we cover everything, and in most cases you don't need to send anything back at all.

Email support@retrocity.net with your order number and we'll send you the return address. Refunds are processed within 48 hours of the parcel arriving back with us. The exact return window is in our Returns & Refunds policy. Faults after that are covered by our 1-Year Warranty.

Yes — every Retro Kid™ comes with a 1-year warranty from the day it arrives. If it develops a fault in normal use we repair it or send a replacement, free of charge, with no return shipping fee to you.

Covered: screen faults and dead pixels, unresponsive buttons or joysticks, charging port and battery failure, SD card failure, audio faults.

Not covered: accidental or liquid damage, cosmetic wear, and normal battery capacity loss over time.
